Bio / Background
Jimmie Alston was born in Fayetteville North Carolina. He is the second son of four children. The family moved to Phoenix Arizona when he was a child. His mother and step father raised and taught him how to earn a honest living. His oldest brother began to fight for a reputation. Young like Jesse James and with a big and bad reputation, he died like Jesse James.
Jimmie watched his mother go through different stages after his oldest brother died. Some made fun of his brother's death. While writing about his life in the streets, many of Jimmie's homies died in the streets. Soon, some of his friends would ridicule him, saying his place was in the streets, while he was trying to get his life together. Hurt and under pressure Jimmie almost committed suicide. Through the prayer of his mother, God stepped right into his life. Reflecting back, Jimmie now knows he was there always.
Mr. Alston now gives all praise, honor and glory to God
