Bio / Background
I wrote the first half of this album after returning from Iraq in 2005. At the time, I was stationed at Fort Lewis, Washington, 15 minutes away from the hospital where I was born. Five months in Iraq away from family, friends, and guitar led me to plenty of nights hunched over an old 4-track recorder after I returned home.
At the beginning of 2006 I moved to North Carolina, where I am now stationed. I managed to fly home for a weekend last October and record another five songs. The two halves of the record were recorded a year apart but they share a similar theme.

this album is one of the best mistakes of my life. my mistake was getting hungry and going out to eat and my frien who had just used my car left the XM radio on a different station and I heard buck island. i was hooked. bought this on itunes immediately without thinking it twice. buy it here better though, since it's cheaper (wish i had known!). the lyrics are extremely refreshing and nostalgic, i could not think of a better match up to my mood. excellent and looking forward to hear more from josh morr. ps -track listing wrong is right, switch em around (even on itunes).

On this site the track Buck Island is actually Madness and Madness is Buck Island. good album
