Bio / Background
Welcome! I would like to thank the Fans, Radio and Video Programmers for your support of my music. I have been very fortunate to have had some of the best musicians at my recording sessions in Nashville. My new single "Christmas in My Hometown", which will be released to radio during the Holiday Season, again features some of the best musicians Nashville has to offer.
"Christmas in My Hometown" tells the story of a Serviceman overseas thinking about his family back home. The song includes the line: "Waiting for a call on Christmas Day to wish everybody a happy holiday". I am helping to get the word out for the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States to help promote their Operation Uplink Program. The program keeps military personnel and hospitalized veterans in touch with their families and loved ones by providing them with a free phone card.
↓ more ↓You can either make a donation to the program or if you are a service member's family of a hospitalized veteran or deployed military personnel you can request a free phone card. 50% of the proceeds from "Christmas in My Hometown" sales and airplay will be given to Operation Uplink the first year of its release. They need our support! Joseph James
PS-Operation Uplink Mobilized immediately following the devastating Hurricane Katrina. Nearly 5,000 phone cards have been sent to aid active-duty troops ad hospitalized veterans in the affected areas.
