Bio / Background
Jo List is a powerful and gifted natural singer who can captivate an audience with her ability to project the essence and emotion of a song. In addition to her unique repertoire of cover tunes, Jo offers many original songs to her audiences that reflect her lyrical and melodic creativity.
Jo recorded her first solo album at Long View Farm Studios. "Boys and Girls" made it to Billboard Magazine's Top 100, and enjoyed a few weeks at the top of the charts in Europe as well. Jo was also the featured female vocalist on the recording of the soundtrack for the laser light production "Lovelight". The first of its kind, "Lovelight" premiered in Boston and then toured the country.
Before moving to Florida, Jo was a first-call session singer for many production houses in the Boston area, and was the primary female vocalist for rock DJ Bob Rivers' Twisted Radio production company. This group wrote and recorded many parodies for nationally syndicated radio stations.
