Bio / Background
I'm John T.Davis
I am known professionally as a high energy,jazz, blues,gospel,organ player.Hammond B3 Organ is my preference.My 2nd and 3rd favorite instruments to play are piano and synthesizer. If I choose to play synth, it gives me a chance to stand and play, as well as sing. I've also been inspired to arrange play and sing ,not only my originals but great standards of many diverse styles,written by many great musicians ,instrumental and vocal, who have influenced me over time.
I am presently working on diversed musical projects
starting primarily with an instrumental organ albumn of
popular standards ,along with a few new originals consisted of one vocal.
My current CD, "JOHN T. DAVIS AND FRIENDS LAST OF THE BLUES",introduces to you songs that I've been inspired to write through the years,unlike the jazz blues quartet sextet organ ensemble that I'm more known for.My next up coming CD JOHN T.
