Bio / Background
John has always been struck with the beauty and variety of oceanside scenery, and sought to capture the experience first with photography, and now, in these compositions. Each piece can take you to a different scene:
Ebb and Flow -Quiet waves move in and out of inlets like the changes in life.
Seaside Village -Small weathered cottages cluster protectively by the sea
Starlight on the Bay -Stars and small clouds reflect in calm waters
No Regrets-Looking back on life during a seaside walk.
Classical Romance-A couple dances on the porch of a Victorian era seaside hotel.
Piano with an Ocean View -Piano in a cruise ship ballroom with a full ocean view gently lifts and falls in time with the waves
John Rich has been inspired by mountains, lakes and the sea ever since his early years in New Hampshire. He has always had a strong desire to capture a sense of place with music. Summers on the lake where "On Golden Pond" was filmed began forming his musical roots.
