Bio / Background

John Rich has been inspired by mountains, lakes and the sea ever since his early years in New Hampshire. He has always had a strong desire to capture a sense of place with music.

Summers on the lake where "On Golden Pond" was filmed began forming his musical roots.

In 1974, he moved to the Pacific Northwest. He has been creating musical images of these magical places ever since. He now lives in a small mountain town in Idaho.
