Bio / Background
While completing a fine arts degree at the University of Texas, Joe McDermott fell in love with the live music scene of Austin. After graduation Joe quickly made a name for himself as the premier songwriter and performer for the school-aged set. For ten years, he played his music in Austin while raising his family. Now he travels from Texas to Toronto! Regarding his career, Joe recently said, “It’s nice to be praised for my music, but my favorite experience is with my guitar before children.
