ANDUHYAUN
The new single by Jimmy Lee Young
Anduhyaun, the new single by multi award winning singer/songwriter Jimmy Lee Young, is a musical spell woven in the magical style of this performer. The song was written, and is dedicated to the battered/homeless women's shelters throughout Canada. The single mixes slick pop with poetry, and culminates in an explosion of Native cries and energy.
Jimmy enlisted several award winning performers to help in this endeavor. Three time Native American Music Award ("Nammy")winner, and recipient of an American Music Award, legendary performer Felipe Rose of the Village People, appears on the extended version, performing a spoken word recitation of a prayer written by Thomasina E. Jordan.
Yolanda Martinez, Native America's Best Female Artist of 2005,also appears, graciously offering her talents in the form of beautiful harmonies with Jimmy, and performing the Apache women's victory cry.
