Bio / Background
Born in Louisiana and raised in South Florida this soul stirring songstress has always had the gift of music in her bones and a desire to change lives. At the age of three it was then that her parents had taken notice of a significant and delightful ability that their second daughter embodied innately. “ I can remember watching the Grammy’s with my family one night and Janet Jackson was performing Control then I can remember saying to my dad, I want to do that”, Says Jita and as time went on they could truly see that not only desire was there but the ability and potential was as well. From the tender age of seven this young siren has been performing all over South Florida in venues that included local parades, international conventions, churches, local talent shows, Heat games and a long list of others. Her desire to be on stage and to sing was unshakable. During the early years of stage performances she was regarded as a young Whitney Houston.
