Jim has his heart, soul, and daily activities in the western lifestyle. Jim is a singer/songwriter whose music is dedicated to cowboying, ranching, farming and rural life ... the values & traditions. Jim writes about the people, the land, the animals, and their relationships ... songs from cows chewin' cud to friends buryin' friends. He is an artist whose passion for music shines through in his performances ... you don't just listen to Jim's material, you see and feel it.
Jim started playing guitar at age 9 and sang solo in his first festival at age 6. He was a singer/songwriter in a Canadian band that enjoyed many successes including being chosen as a finalist in a national TV "Search for Stars".
