Since his 14-year tenure as an editor for Guitar Player Magazine, Jim has been nominated for a Grammy, written five guitar instruction books (including the best-selling All Blues For Jazz Guitar), appeared on National Public Radio, and taught music at the university level. The dynamic compositions and playing on Cedar & Silver represent a recent culmination of his gifts that will be appreciated by guitarists and listeners alike.
