Bio / Background

Jim Adkins is an award winning songwriter/guitarist from the central VA area.

He has won nine awards in a VA based song contest for jazz and instrumental.

He also placed 2nd in the 1999 BILLBOARD SONG CONTEST in Jazz for the song "Wind Dancing" And received an Honorable mention for a song called "Wathching you Smile" which can be found on his second cd called "Straight Ahead".

In the year 2001 Jim signed an agreement with Positive Music in Columbia MD and is set for a national release in February of 2002.
