Bio / Background

From the Urban moodiness of Chinatown to the remote grasslands of Africa - from the infectiously joyful beat of Feet On Wheels to the stirring intensity of Wind And Fire, enjoy the spirit of jazz in it?s many flavors.

This collection includes performances by musical talents both known and obscure on percussion, guitar, saxophone, flute along with John?s adventurous piano and keyboard work.

The seventh son from a musical family of ten, John E. Young has been composing and performing music since childhood. A vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, he has won both an Emmy Award and a BMI Award for composing on The Guiding Light, as well as three nominations for As The World Turns. He also wrote for Another World and The Geraldo Show.
