About the album: This album is a tribute to who I used to be. It’s not that I am not that person anymore, as I am a little, but the songs here are a representation of the thoughts I’ve had over the course of my life. People have asked me why I named this cd “Enjoy the Sadness,” as it sounds like an oxymoron. How does one enjoy that which makes him or her sad? I’m a very nostalgic person and I enjoy looking back on things that I’ve done, where I’ve been. The thing is, I remember a lot of unhappy times and I realize that I have spent most of my life feeling unfulfilled, feeling sad about not having things that I thought I deserved.
