This is an artist with definite leanings towards Brazilian & Jazz - but don't pigeon-hole Jennifer Scott!
As comfortable singing Pop and Blues as she is singing improvisational Jazz, Jennifer Scott always makes a performance her very own.
This CD "Emotional Girl" is a collection of arrangements and original tunes by Jennifer. All have been carefully selected to express a wide range of emotions and 'feels'.
Included are two Joni Mitchell compositions ('Free Man..' and 'You Dream Flat Tires') done in the unique Jennifer Scott fashion - but joyously celebrating her love for Ms Mitchell's music and lyrics.
'I Will Not Waste Another Day', an uplifting original song by Jennifer, is dedicated to her cousin, Darlene and her sister-in-law, Adele - both who passed away this past year.
'Sister Sutherland' is a happy collaboration with Jennifer's bassist/producer/husband, Rene Worst.
