Bio / Background
'Live Rayne' was recorded live in Kingston, Ontario, Canada at the Time to Laugh Comedy Club on the evening of August 17th 2006. It’s a wonderful, eclectic mix of Jenica Rayne’s original songs, performed by Jenica and her talented band, The RayneMakers. This CD includes the single ‘Faster’, a bonus track recorded in Nanaimo BC in 2007. Jenica Rayne's music is uniquely her own. She is a passionate songwriter, accomplished guitarist and seasoned performer. Born in picturesque Prince Edward County, an island on the shores of Lake Ontario, Canada, Jenica comes from a long line of professional musicians. Having lived most of her adult life in Vancouver and the Gulf Islands, she now calls Kingston, Ontario her home. She studied jazz guitar and voice at Malaspina University College in Nanaimo BC and has released two critically acclaimed CD’s, 'Hall of Memories' and 'Essential Elements'. I love this live CD with her band the RayneMakers. I wish I had been at the concert. Awesome tunes, great musicians ... my favorite is the tune FASTER ... it smokes.

This is a great CD. I love it! ... and of course the rock tune 'faster' that makes me wish I were in the back of that pick-up truck with the band.
