More great old-time songs out of American traditions - not just for kids.
Bio / Background
About Two Little Boys:
“This is a great collection of authentic, old-time American songs, sung by two of the country’s most respected singers and collectors. One of the reasons I would particularly recommend this for parents is its essential dignity of tone: nowhere do the singers talk down, preach or yell and scream at your children.”
Sing Out! Magazine
“Jeff’s repertoire is a direct link to American traditional singers and as close as many of us will come to being out there on the back porch with banjo, rocking chair, hound dog, etc.”
Tykes News, Yorkshire, UK
The second recording of traditional American folk songs for all ages by Jeff Warner and Jeff Davis. “Jeff and Jeff” grew up listening to the songs and stories of Jeff’s parents, renowned collectors, Anne and Frank Warner, and those of the traditional singers that the Warners met during their collecting trips through the south and rural northeast.
↓ more ↓Warner and Davis forged a musical partnership that lasted for more than twenty years and took them to scores of festivals and hundreds of schools on both sides of the Atlantic. Both artists continue to bring their songs, play-party games, instrumental skills, deep knowledge of rural American pasttimes, and lively wits to audiences young and old in the U.S. and abroad.
