Like the pig on the cover (we are not related) this CD brings home the bacon or in this case the Schmaltz. Oy a Jewish Jimmy Buffett... Seinfeld, Will & Grace, Dharma & Greg, The Nanny, Dick Van Dyke Show, and Carol Burnett Show all have something in common with "Don't Eat Pork". They use Yiddish words that became American slang as common as the bagel. Each Yiddish word is punch line to a hilarious comic bit. With "Don't Eat Pork," "Don't Ogle My Kugel" and "Bupkus Blues"a Yiddish word is a set up for a hilarious song. The lyrics are the "bit" These songs are NOT parodies of other artists songs, they are original. The Alter Rocker wrote songs for some of the music industry biggest artists.
