Bio / Background

Jeff has been a guitarist since age 5 and a songwriter since his early teens.

After college, he became a session player, touring and recording with various major label artists. This enabled him to work extensively with producer Phil Ramone and perform on the Tonight Show.

Jeff left performing for a career in music transcribing, creating the note-for-note guitar scores for over 250 major artists' sheet music books, including Eric Clapton, The Rolling Stones, Keith Urban, John Mayer, Dave Matthews, and Metallica.

In 2003, Jeff began performing his own music for the first time, beginning with the open mic circuit, where the live recording of the very first song he performed in public was chosen for a "best of" CD. He quickly graduated to his own shows, along the way garnering various songwriting awards, including being voted by Underground Music Online one of the "Best Singer/Songwriters of Greenwich Village" three years in a row.
