Bio / Background

I remember being very very young and playing my toy guitar along with Elvis reruns. When I was about 11 my grandmother took me to a "prayer meeting". My cousins who were older and cooler were doing the music. I was ignited! I walked out of there thinking, "WOW! I want to play guitar like that, I want to make people feel the way that they made me feel." I finally started taking guitar lessons when I was 12. I started playing at church almost right away. I was terrible! But I was surrounded by a lot of caring and helpful people who showed me the ropes. I steadily developed my skills. In the meantime my career in health care was blossoming, but I wasn't happy. So I left the field and followed my heart into youth ministry. My songwriting really took off! I wrote from my experiences there. I used the music to reach kids and parents. This CD is a product of that ministry. It is a CD that makes you think and tap you feet. I hope that this CD will strengthen your faith.
