Funk 'N Roll Music: Picture the misguided notion of Janis Joplin as lead singer of Led Zeppelin, stir in some Red Hot Chili Pepper funk and you'll have the essence of Jackie Blue.
Bio / Background
Complexification. That word looks different spelled out. It's the awesome feeling you get when you have an epiphany at 2am right before you finally kick his butt out of the house for the last time.
Or when you're driving down the road at 100mph and you figure your life out by removing the complexity from it.
Usually there isn't anyone around to celebrate the moment with. For Jackie Blue, there's always a song involved to keep us company. Janis Joplin singing "Piece of My Heart" or Led Zeppelin playing "In the Evening." Songs that are timeless.
Can you imagine what it would sound like, if you combined that great feeling with Joplin's raw emotional energy, Jimmy Page's rocking guitar playing, and the Red Hot Chili Pepper's funk?
