Inner Surge has played many shows such as Warped Tour 2006 at Race City Speedway alongside Helmet and Underoath, the "Rock against Racism 2002 and 2005" concerts in Calgary, the annual CJSW 90.9 Metal Fundraiser and the Southern Alberta Hardcore & Metal Festival alongside acts such as Into Eternity and Caveat. The band has also organized it's own benefit concerts for charities such as Operation Eyesight Universal and the Evan Shaw Foundation.

Inner Surge's music will appear on the Macabro Films movie soundtrack for the psychological thriller "Amok!", due for release in 2007. Information on Macabro Films is at www.macabrofilms.com. The band will also be featured on the official movie soundtrack for horror film "Cabras". Directed by Fredy Polania, the film is due for release in late 2007. Inner Surge is also featured on the Paladin Pictures film score for "Rebellion of Thought", which debuted to a sold out audience at the Virginia Film Festival. Phat Mountain Film's most recent DVD release "Divided Aggression" features 4 of the band's songs as well.

Inner Surge's music video for "Retribution Song" explores the band's political views and was partially inspired by the largely ignored Uzbekistan massacre as well as the Zapatista's(EZLN). The band's second music video for "Wolves" will be directed by Shaun Friesen of Free Zen Design.

Inner Surge was featured in the new book by Garry Sharpe-Young "New Wave of American Heavy Metal" alongside Dillinger Escape Plan, Mastodon, and Norma Jean. Inner Surge's artist Shaun Friesen does all the band's artwork and works on their videos through his company Free Zen Design.

Inner Surge is included on the Convergence Party Recordings benefit compilation called "Dismantle The Machinery: Songs of Audio Annihilation". Other artists included on the compilation include the Brat Attack, The Martyr Index, Dying Process, Fuck the Facts and the Renegades of Punk. The band has also appeared on many compilation CD's and DVD's including Canadian metal compilation the Fire Union, Skratch Magazine's compilation CD, where Inner Surge appears alongside Converge and Hot Water Music, political DVD release "When Today Becomes Tomorrow", Phat Mountain Films 2006 extreme sports DVD "Divided Aggression", Atom Sounds Records compilation, Synaptic Graffiti's latest release and Cyclone Record's 2006 release "Storm Warning: Volume 1". Inner Surge has also become very popular on various online podcasts and radio shows such as Headbanger's Lab, Fat Cat Radio, Hard Beyond Driven, Public Nuisance Radio, Platform Podcast, Politipunk, Cindycenter, Scrub Radio, the Big Break, and Cyclone Record's Eye of the Storm podcast. Inner Surge's newest album is the critically acclaimed and groundbreaking "Signals Screaming", an 11 track assault on human rights abuses and what the band sees as the international "blind eye". Released April 1 2006 through Cyclone Records, the album has been well received by both fans and music critics.
