Gary Forney is probably the most famous songpoet in over 100 years of songpoems, and has been seen in pbs documentary, the new york times, the los angeles weekly, papers and media from coast to coast, along with songs and interviews on international radio
Bio / Background
Gary Forney - founder of The Iowa Mountain Tour - is well known songpoet. Some have even said the first mad genius lyricist in this strange shadow world of music.
Gary has appeared in a PBS documentary, The New York Sunday Times, The L. A. Weekly, numerous newspapers from coast to coast. Has been interviewed by and had songs on International Public Radio.
Now, for the first time, Gary is releasing a full length album CD, featuring his songs from the bizarre to the wonderful. Gary even sings on this CD. Hear the actual Iowa Mountain Tour as they were meant to be heard.
