Steve Pierson enters the world of contemporary Blues with his debut release, "Blues Head." This aptly titled album showcases a variety of blues influences, and features a seasoned cast of musicians including Grammy winning guitarist, Laurence Juber.

Out of the Los Angeles area comes rising bluesman, Steve Pierson and his incredible band, Blues Head. Since bursting onto the blues scene with his critically acclaimed debut album, "Blues Head," Pierson has been winning fans all over California and beyond. He leads a powerhouse band that boasts such names as Gerald Johnson (Steve Miller Band, Crosby, Stills, and Nash), Michael Murphy (Joe Walsh, Chuck E. Weiss), Gary Mallaber (Van Morrison, Bruce Springsteen), not to mention renowned fingerstyle guitarist and Grammy winner, Laurence Juber (Wings). Pierson and his band call upon their many influences to create contemporary blues music that is seeped in tradition while keeping an eye towards the future.
"Blues Head" reveals Pierson as a songwriter able to inventively weave blues elements into rock tunes and folky ballads, as well as to tackle the genre head-on.
