Christian was introduced to the music of David Lanz in the early 90’s and immediately became consumed with the beauty and simplicity of this “New Age” music. To date Christian has recorded two independent recordings: “Reflections” in 2002 and “After the Rain” in 2005. Christian has had many influences on the piano: David Lanz, Dave Grusin, Jim Brickman, George Winston, and Andre Crouch just to name a few.

As a solo piano artist, Christian enjoys the small venue that communicates intimacy and creates community. “Please come into my private little world of beauty where the piano becomes a singular voice of passion” he often says as he begins a concert. Christian enjoys and is grateful for those who come to hear his performances. Through is music, his message of hope and purpose can be heard. “Music can change the heart; it can change the mind”. Each of Christian’s songs have a story behind them and he often shares these before he performs them, leaving images of people and places in the minds of the listeners.

Many have compared Christian’s music to the one and only Jim Brickman. Christian’s distinctive style stands alone with its own voice and purpose. Christian continues to enjoy success as a performer and educator. He recently traveled to San Francisco, California to perform at the NASSP national convention, sharing the stage with such dignitaries as Margaret Spelling, the national secretary of education, and Mario Cuomo, the former Governor of New York. Christian continues to expand his listening audience as he recently became one of the featured artists who enjoys airplay on the radio station “Whisperings”'"solopianoradio.com. as well as other independent ambient music stations on the east coast. Chris hopes to continue with the success of his music and take it to a greater national stage in the years to come. As both a piano artist and educator at heart, Christian believes his music has a deeper purpose and hopes to use his music to encourage others to find their voice, passion, and purpose in this world.
