Bio / Background
Through perseverance and commitment, Holly Stanton has managed to take the dreams and desires she held as a young woman and turn them into a life long gift of creating song and music. Drawing early inspiration from the likes of Elton John and other super pop artists of the day, Holly quickly learned how to craft her music into interesting and easily remembered pop rock songs.
Holly’s first album, TEMPTATION (Solid Smoke Records), contained a wonderful and sometimes eclectic compilation of music featuring ‘in your face’ pop songs like that of the title track 'TEMPTATION', to simple beautiful ballads like 'When I go To Sleep' - there's even a reggae inspired track along with a sprinkling of quasi-new wave tracks! Holly’s raw vocal imagery and tight pop rock understanding forms the foundation of the entire ‘TEMPTATION’ album. With that foundation now set in stone, ‘THE VALIANT YEARS’ continues on in the same vein - only better.
