Bio / Background
Hip Service features a screaming four-piece horn section, rock solid funky rhythm section, four outstanding lead vocalists and four funkalicious dancers. Made up of some of Northern California's top performers, the Hip Service collective has become one of the most in-demand live acts in California & Nevada. Best known for their live performances of R&B and funk dance tunes, the group has just collaborated with members of Tower of Power on their debut CD “Uncovered”. Whether they are performing classic cover material or their own original funky jams, the band’s sound is unmistakably Hip Service. The group’s appeal has proven to be universal and their unique sound and visually exciting stage show continues to attract an ever growing and loyal audience.
