"Your New Life" took Stephanie Rogers nearly two years to make. It is a labor of love from a talented Chicagoan who has been performing as an actress and singer for almost ten years. The subject matter ranges from topics of love and hope to pleading for life, ending life, and breaking the mundanity of life.
Throughout the record, one is drawn in by the smooth melodies and rich arrangements, while realizing there is much more there than typically found on a pop cd. Most songs engage us with a powerful chorus and a strong performance, while at times rocking our world and also provoking a wide emotional range.
