High Alert Status released RESIN8 in 2002. Also that year Degree of The Streets, a hip hop compilation was released. Both discs are available at CD Baby. High Alert Status appeared on the Swear compilation along side chill out masters Dining Rooms and Hip hop legends Non Phixion.
Currently High Alert Status is in heavy rotation on the web's number one chill radio station OverXposure.fm
Drayton's love of electronic music goes back to his 80's youth, where he discovered all forms of emerging electronic music from Kraftwerk to David Berman. During the 90's he took in the tumultuous NYC music scene playing many styles from rock to funk. He was witness to the ground swell that became electronic music as we see it in todays culture.
Breathing Room is a record made for the down-tempo chill out connoisseur. From up lifting electro funk anthems to epic noir esqu compositions, and a few trippy hip hop joints for good measure. Breathing Room is a chill record for these tense times.
