Silverado Records is pleased to announce the release of HERB GIBSON’S new CD, “LET’S PLAY”.

With old friend, Dr. Gloria Cooper, masterfully leading the band through their changes at the piano, Larry Hancock’s powerful yet subtle drumming, and bassist Chris Amberger weaving his magic around some great and obscure tunes, this new CD from HERB GIBSON is sure to please the straight ahead jazz fan.

Herb’s always soulful playing is again evident on this collection, as is his obvious comfort zone with long time friend Gloria Cooper, who brings out the best in Herb on his own composition,"Monk-n-Bird",as well as the straight blues frolic’s, and enhances his great ability to “own” a ballad.

This is a wonderful new CD from MR. GIBSON----Producer Patrick Flynn, and engineer Darryl Webb, have again captured and released some very fine moments on the Silverado label---very upbeat and listener friendly from top to bottom.
