One and only modern rock/alternative metal band mixing with Japanese traditional music by using wadaiko (traditional Japanese drums), shakuhachi (traditional Japanese flute) and koto (traditional Japanese harp).
Bio / Background
HeavensDust was formed in 2000 by Shinsaku (Vo.Gt.), Mai (Ba.) and Atushi (Gt.). Their goal was to create an individual sound that no other band can make.
In 2003 Ajo (wadaiko),in 2004 u-ky(koto),Yuta(Dr.) and Nan-Zan(shakuhachi) made the final pieces of the puzzle. By including koto (traditional Japanese harp),shakuhachi(traditional Japanese flute) and wadaiko (traditional Japanese drums) HeavensDust mixed traditional Japanese melody and rhythm with alternative metal and rock.
