Harvey Moon is his own man entirely, a gifted singer/songwriter with none of the pretensions or histrionics that plague so many songwriters. Due to that lack of egoism, Harvey Moon is post modern in the best sense, both lyrically and musically.

Opening song December Moon's propulsiveness and syncopated rhythms, is a cool blending of various English folk rock stylings but presented in a more modern, rockier, poppier vein. Flame offers some of the deft minor key modulations that suck you into it's vortex in a seductively insinuating manner. Lost At Sea has some attractive finger picking on acoustic guitar, reminding me a bit of John Renbourn, and veers away from triteness with twists down darker alleyways.
