Bio / Background

Hacksaw to the Throat began as a 2-man thrash / grind band, their style evolving into a much more progressive form of extreme music as their lineup solidified. Always filled with energy and intensity, the band draws from a vast range of influences from Neurosis, Majority Rule, and Pig Destroyer to

Sigur Ros and Japanese Taiko. Their latest release, Wastelands" (2007), has been described as "a truly genre-bending masterpiece that is as beautiful as it is crushing."
