Modern rock praise and worship
Bio / Background
GTA Praise Band is based in a church in London, Ontario, Canada, called GTA - Glad Tidings Assembly. They have been playing for about 8 years, both in weekend worship services at GTA and at various venues in Ontario. Their style is rock based and their material consists of a wide variety of praise and worship songs, some cover songs, and some older hymns as well - always with new arrangements to adapt to more contemporary genres. The producer is Tim Schwindt, owner of River Music Productions in London (www.rivermusicproductions.com), who serves as the music and creative director at GTA. Tim is a worship leader and lead vocalist for the band, together with Blair Mercer and Angela Mercer. The band has a good number of vocalists, guitarists, keyboardists, drummers and bass players. It is their desire to give praise to God and communicate the message of His love and truth to this generation in a dynamic and relevant way through the tool of music.
