Consisting of a collection of original songs that Amy has written over the years, "First Dance" has been described as "relaxing", "inspiring" and "triumphant". Of special note are the award-winning songs "I Believe" and "Capture the Dream" which took second and third place in a national songwriting contest.
Although she didn't begin taking piano lessons until the age of 11, it didn't take long for Amy to win numerous contests and awards. Sometime during high school she realized that composing her own music was far more rewarding and challenging than playing other's works. After writing for several years, she was encouraged by family and friends to record and share her tremendous talent.
