Bio / Background
The Immortal Griffen, Charley T. Anderson, Charley Tumahci and a host of other names have been used to describe the Chicago underground phenom going simply by Griffen. With a career which has already spanned eight albums, not including the 'Jacken Fa Beats' mixxtape series, Griffen rises above the subterrain with "Insomnia".
The album is spurred on by the corporate inception of Unlabeled Records and an infusion of trackwork primarily banged out by west coast based heat makers Beat Science Productions [www.BeatScience.net]. Fans of the funk-driven style of production will definitely appreciate the plethora of tracks contained herein.
"Insomnia" is a 10 track testament to those that sleep. The message is simply, "Wake up!...The game is about to change."
