About Gospel Times Ministries
Gospel Times Ministries and its colleagues are engaged in a revolution for community economic development, education, and spiritual revival. We have completed several community economic development revivals to ensure that the results of excellence for our communities and youth become a reality instead of remaining a dream. It is our belief that we can be most successful in these attempts by providing strong leadership support, full community support, and strong policies, procedures, and prayer.
We are excited that so many people: governors, mayors, parents, community, clergy, and students support these revivals to seek answers to the problems faced by our communities. It is this type of united effort that will strengthen our pursuit of effective community economic development, a building of character for our youth, and educational opportunities for all. Gospel Times Ministries hail letters of support from Governor Jeb Bush, Past N. C. Governor James B. Hunt, Jr., Past Mayor of Durham, Nicholas Tennyson, the first Black Chess Grand Master, Maurice Ashley, The White House Faith Base and Community Initiative, and other outstanding leaders, organizations, college presidents, churches, and businesses.
Our mission describes four desirable conditions for a community to become a community of excellence. These four conditions require the development of: Urban Outreach Ministries for Community-Based Redevelopment, Critical Thinking and Problem Solving for At-Risk Youth, Corporate Joint Venture with Developing Communities and Educational Institutions in the At-Risk Neighborhoods, Project Self-Sufficiency, and Economic Improvement and Self-Development Ministry.
