Bio / Background

Gaelan McKenna is an independent artist living in New York City who thrives on his multicultural environment. Gaelan's music fuses World music, mainly from Africa with Ambient and Jazz music. His latest release titled 'Woodbach' is a superb example of Gaelan's ability to tastefully use influences from different cultures to create a cohesive contemporary mix that crosses musical borders. This album also features Gaelan's debut as a vocalist using words from a language he created.
