Bio / Background

Folk jazz in rare and very sophisticated edition. A compilation of four great virtuosos, including Adrian Maruszczyk - bass, Tuur Floorizone - accordion, Sven Rosenbach - soprano saxophone and Mathias Philipzen - percussion instruments, who oscillate between traditional folk music and charming melodies with the add of jazz. Great arrangements based on jazz and folk style, enriched with natural improvisations make this album a unique position. Despite melodical Adrian Maruszczyk ideas, we can hear a traditional Bulgarian composition, called Atoska Racenica. Live at the Yard is an interesting live-recorded album, which can be an evidence, that open mind and true love to music are the key to success.
