Heavier and more straight-up melodic death metal than 2003’s The Universal Struggle, Leading The Resistance herald’s a fresh new sound for FFA. Faster than fuck and heavy as shit. The production sounds incredibly clear and precise. This new masterpiece is comprised of 9 powerfully emotional and technical songs plus a cello-laden acoustic intro and stunning interlude. A strong theme of war and battle as a metaphor for life runs through the lyrics and artwork, which depicts shocking WWII photos. FFA continue to evolve and grow on each album, and this one is no exception. A cohesive blend of black metal, catchy punk riffs and epic, insane melodies.
