"......an incredible breed of machine-crunch-harmony..."
Bio / Background
...Based out of Michigan......... a blasting ProTools-engineered 10 tracks industrial metal record that finally kicks some ass!!! Their self-produced and self-released "Amplified Fragments" brings you electro sequencing with dance stylings, pounding industrial rhythms, gothic pad melodies and most importantly a huge compressed crunchy distorted wall of sound of electric guitars. You may go right ahead and compare them to early KMFDM, some Ministry, definitely a lot of Headcrash (for the usage of guitars), and most definitely Die Krupps, Alien Sex Fiend and others. It is safe to say that these guys have the talent and the right cards to become major players in the electro-metal scene, where lack of fresh and original material has been taking over in the past few years. I have been looking for a new powerful abrasive aggro-industrial group for a while and I may just have found it with FIREWERK..."

"Let's cut to the chase here people, 'Amplified Fragments' is one of the best releases of 2001, no lie. VERY blown away. The production value is stellar, the programming rowdy, the power chords abundant, the vocals 100% compatible. Did I mention power chords? 'Sadistic' is just down and dirty dampening and raunchy fretboard mischief. The samples, reminiscent of the ol' school Stigmata days of Grandpa Jourgensen. What really sold me on this 10 track fabricated disc was 'Kingdom'. Just fantastic. While the lyrics provides a well-deserved slam on Catholicism, the beat alternates between happy synth motif and cranky power chords. Sweet. Another great track is' Work' which is more of the same. That's not to say it's all guitar haven, they do have tracks where the synth is the primary driver - readily apparent on 'Hypecrash' and 'Pharmacy'. Few industrial bands do the heavy-handed guitar thing anymore, Firewerk is one of those rare exceptions and they come off fresh and new. Hey, don't overlook these guys. Stop by their website and drop 'em a line, they always answer. They do need a big honkin' record label so they can tour though. And guitar tabs. They need guitar tabs."
