Bio / Background
This set of tracks selected from the 3 Unkle Fezter's Ear Project CDs and CORPUS was commissioned to be used to help individuals suffering from stress. Since then, the CD has ended up with various people around the world who have found the music also useful in relieving stress; preparing for and relaxing after a day's work; and helping young children (and their new mothers!) to calm down and sleep.
Ranjit Fernandez is originally from the east-coast town of Montrose in Scotland and has lived in Qatar since 2000. He has been playing guitar since he was 14 years old. Since moving to Qatar, and with the encouragement of Anthony Curtis (formerly of BOOM, www.anthonycurtis.net), he started composing and recording his music using a Zoom PRS (personal recording studio) unit. Initially the songs were developed under the Unkle Fezter’s Project title and 3 CDs were produced at home and sold to friends, colleagues and anyone prepared to take a risk.
