Bryan Fenkart is just like you.
The first thing you'll notice on his debut release "Imperfect Man" are the lyrics. Bryan's introspective, highly-emotionally charged words strip him down to his human core, while at the same time magnetically drawing in the listener with uncanny accessibility and naked honesty. Never pretentious, frequently clever, and always real, Bryan has placed his finger on the pulse of his generation, and this album is what he found.
The words are mingled with expertly performed pop/rock songwriting with sensibilities reminiscent of John Mayer, Marc Broussard, Ben Folds, and even the great Billy Joel. The songwriting is perfectly thought out and remarkably diverse. Combined with the masterful production of Charles Newman, the album takes you to a place that is equal parts polished and raw, epic and restrained, mainstream and indie.
