Bio / Background
Derrick B. Kelley a.k.a. Mr. Fashigadale would like to start by saying it was only possible for me to pursue my dream of music because of my lord and savior Jesus Christ. I was born in Los Angeles California but raised in Compton & Watts. I love music & what inspired me most was being in the studio when I was fourteen watching one of the greatest artists in hip hop history 2Pac record the All Eyes on Me album. I knew from that point on that whatever I did I would be the best to me if nobody believed in me at least I know I tried to be the best I could be no matter what happened. I started doing music when I was five years old in the backyard of the ElTiki apartments where I spent most of my time as a child & some of my teenage years right next to the pj's in Watts. I started banging when I was twelve on the east side of Compton from Luders Park Piru, which is bloods. I started selling dope a little after being put on the hood.
