Conceived as an antidote to much of the musically passable, but lyrically unforgivable pop prevalent at the time, and inspired by the likes of Adam and the Ants, The Smiths, Ennio Morricone, and all sorts of 50's and 60's music, we started up The Family Trait in the Spring of 2004.
If you like your music gutsy and proud, know how it feels to get to pay day and still be skint, run up against the wilfully ignorant, condescendingly humourless and sickeningly wholesome on a daily basis, and if everyone you know and like is on the verge of a nervous breakdown...
