Old school songwriting rhythm and blues, heavy on the blues: Soulful vocals and passionate lead guitar with grooves ala Stax, Skynyrd, Joe Cocker and The Band.
Bio / Background
Danny's passion for songwriting sneaks out here, and boy is it cool! This is the one that takes him from the garage jam, and puts him one step closer to the big league! Fine production and a grand guest list of local artists help Danny Eyer realize another musical dream of his...
This CD has been heard on many blues radio shows, including XM radio's BLUESVILLE channel and Electric Blues Radio. Quickly becoming a favorite, make sure you do "Whatever It Takes" to get your own copy of this awesome CD!!!!
(from the liner notes)...When Danny first asked me to write something for this release, I was excited. I wanted to find the appropriate words to describe him, but all of the good words have been overused & have lost much of their impact. The are just glitzy descriptive text that we overlook when trying to find the reality of the story. Danny is not glitzy; he IS the reality of the story, and understanding that helps you to appreciate him even more.

On stage, Danny's confidence & lust for fun creates an excitement I'd be hard pressed to describe. Few artists reach this level of entertainer, & Danny has practically authored it himself. The stage becomes a catalyst for a collective consciousness amongst band members and listeners alike. You can feel what he is creating as much as you can hear it
There is a magic to Danny's personality. It's the kind of magic that can be felt when you hear his music, watch him perform, or just shake his hand. When such a genuine & true person decides to share himself with the world, be it through music or friendship, there is a positive and uplifting sense no one can reject. Everyone walks away just a little bit happier.
So now as I reflect on appropriate words to describe Danny Eyer, I realize that it can't be done. Words don't descibe Danny. Experiencing him does.

Good lyrics and blues guitar, laid back sounds, I really enjoyed listening to this.
