A thought-provoking set of tight songs, with strong hooks on the choruses, and crafty, memorable melody lines.
Bio / Background
Ethan Chandler is a singer/songwriter originally from Norwalk, CT. "Better Days Ahead" is his latest CD. Ethan is currently writing for a new record to be released sometime in late 2007/early 2008. Ethan has been getting alot of attention since last November, when a video of Ethan singing a parody of U2's "One" was leaked to You Tube. What was meant for a private audience of bankers turned into a circus of internet and media attention. It started on YouTube and made it's way to television, appearing on VH-1's "Web Junk" and "Best Week Ever" and on E! Tv's "The Soup". It won the best internet video on "The Soup Awards" and was featured on Yahoo!'s "Current Buzz". The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and USA Today all covered the story. Even comedian David Cross got in on the action when he did a parody of Ethan singing the song, performing it live at the Bowery Ballroom, opening for Modest Mouse.
