Bio / Background
The Emberlight is a high energy Christian rock band with layer of pop sensibility and a passion for today's youth. With driven guitars, interesting chord progressions, woven melodies and countermelodies and a pop sensibility, the music is a holiday for your ears. Stylistically the writing draws influence from American rockers Foo Fighters, Switchfoot, pop rockers Weezer, Fall Out Boy, All American Rejects, and the intelligence of Relient K.
"I always grew up listening to rock so when I write I like to start with a driven rock foundation and then layer on the pop appeal."
The Emberlight, however, is not your average band, but a ministry stemming from the adventurous nature of front man Andy Rosko who forewent medical school to travel the country in a beat up van.
