Bio / Background
Singer/Songwriter Edwin Lewis, has been an active member of the Nashville songwriting community since making the move from Michigan to Tennessee in 1994. With a style all his own Edwin, respectfully pays homage to the very traditional country sounds that won him over as a young songwriter. Throughout the past ten years Edwin, has had the opportunity of developing his craft while working and writing with some of the music industries most revered talents. Edwin's, current collection of music, simply titled "The Nashville Sessions" was recorded live at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee. The new album weaves everyday messages of life and times together with melodic musical statements that are uplifting and straight to the heart. Songs like "Phantom of the Grand 'Ole Opry" and "Is It Just Me" creatively deliver elements of traditional country, while "LA to Nashville" and "Let Jesse Rob The Train" pack a powerful country rock punch.
